Elephant Memories
Two specialties meet at Elephant Memories. Clarissa is an award-winning director whose films have screened at festivals including Cannes, and she writes a script for each wedding film rather than assembling footage against a template. Karl is a musician and sound engineer who works with couples on music and blends the score with the day's own audio.
The studio is unusual in leading with the long form. Short social edits come with the package, but the full-length film is what the pair are known for, built as a narrative about the couple, their families, and their friends across the whole wedding weekend. They ask couples to watch two or three complete films from different weddings before booking, which is a fair test of whether that storytelling actually lands.
