Wedding Vendor Connect(“we,” “us”) operates weddingvendorconnect.com, a directory of South Carolina wedding vendors. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the directory, we don't sell personal information, and you can contact us any time to review or delete what we hold about you.

Information we collect

• Contact messages. When you use our contact form we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, and we use them only to respond to you.
• Vendor accounts. If you create a vendor account we store your email address, login credentials (handled by our authentication provider — we never see your password), and the business information you submit for your listing. Listing details are published in the directory by design.
• Technical logs. Our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not use these to build profiles of visitors.

Browsing the directory does not require an account, and we do not set tracking cookies for visitors. Cookies are used only to keep vendors signed in to their accounts.

How we use information

We use the information above to operate and improve the directory: publishing and maintaining vendor listings, responding to inquiries, keeping accounts secure, and understanding at an aggregate level how the site is used. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run the site: our hosting platform and our database and authentication provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments, and only as needed to provide their services to us.

Vendor listing information

Vendor listings describe businesses, not private individuals. We curate listings from information vendors submit and from publicly available sources such as a vendor's own website. If you own a business listed here and want your listing corrected or removed, contact usand we'll take care of it promptly.

Data retention and your rights

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your inquiry, and account data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you at any time via the contact page. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children

The site is intended for adults planning weddings and businesses serving them. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy
