For more than 60 years, Sea Pines has anchored the southern tip of Hilton Head Island — a 5,000-acre resort community that takes in Harbour Town, three championship golf courses, and miles of Atlantic beach. Weddings draw on the whole property: couples can marry on the sand in front of the Sea Pines Beach Club, beneath the centuries-old Liberty Oak overlooking Harbour Town Yacht Basin and its lighthouse, or on the 18th lawn of Harbour Town Golf Links.
Receptions run from the Champions Ballroom at the Harbour Town Clubhouse, which seats up to 250, to the ocean-view Atlantic Room at the Beach Club (130), the Heritage Room (120), and the 1,908-square-foot Magnolia Room for parties of 30 to 80. Sea Pines Catering, which has handled the resort's food and beverage for six decades, caters every event in-house, and the events team builds out full wedding weekends — welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, and farewell brunches included.
Guests can stay on property in more than 400 rental homes and villas or at the Inn & Club at Harbour Town, a Forbes Four-Star hotel. The resort sits inside the island's gated Sea Pines community at 32 Greenwood Drive, with the beach, marina, and clubhouses all a short drive apart.
