Kara Sinclair moved to Camden, South Carolina, from Portland, Oregon, bringing five years of full-time wedding coordination in the Pacific Northwest plus a decade of nonprofit and theatrical event work before that. She runs Cedar Rose Events out of Kershaw County, where she and her family are building a home.

Cedar Rose also builds custom signage in wood, plexiglass, and vintage mirrors, and takes on non-wedding events such as showers and birthdays.
