Helen Tackett, the certified photographer behind Calico Photography, works out of Lexington, just west of Columbia, and photographs weddings across South Carolina. Every wedding package she books, even the four-hour minimum, includes a second photographer, and in-state wedding-day travel comes at no extra charge.
Packages are tiered to fit a range of budgets, and Helen builds custom quotes for couples whose plans don't match a standard tier. Add-ons include extra coverage at $375 per hour with edited, print-ready digital images, $300 full portrait sessions covering engagements, bridals, post-wedding, and trash-the-dress shoots, and $200 engagement mini sessions. Clients note her quick turnaround and flexibility on pricing.
Currently booking weddings for 2026 and 2027, Calico Photography also handles headshots, family portraits, and other portrait work between wedding seasons.
