Eric Hunt has officiated weddings in Myrtle Beach for 18 years, relocating from Martinsville, Virginia, with his wife Angel to build his officiant practice on the Grand Strand. Hunt says no permit is required to marry on Grand Strand beaches, though some stretches carry access limitations he navigates as a locality-licensed officiant. He also performs vow renewals and ceremonies for couples who already hold a marriage license or simply want a commitment ceremony without filing one.
