Clarrisa's Kitchen and Catering

Clarrisa Munford, who served nine years in the U.S. Army as a cook, has run Clarrisa's Kitchen and Catering with her husband James since 2015. The Irmo business is a certified veteran-owned and woman-owned small business, and Clarrisa is head chef.

The company caters weddings, rehearsal dinners and receptions with a menu spanning American, Korean and Vietnamese dishes, and offers station catering, full-service catering, and in-house catering at its own venue, JC Legacy Event Center, which holds up to 200 guests. Published client reviews document weddings at outside venues too, including a January 2023 wedding at Southern Oaks in Gilbert, SC, and describe menu accommodations for dietary restrictions including Ramadan fasting.
